The Gold Coast has entertainment options suitable for all tastes and budgets. Enjoy great meals from any of the international cuisines available on the Gold coast, sip drinks in a piano bar, hit the nightclubs until the small hours or enjoy a world class live stage show. Surf, sand and sun by day, fabulous restaurants, clubs and nightlife after dark.

The Gold Coast is the major convention, events and conference centre in Queensland, hosting everything from Indycar races to thoroughbred yearling sales to golf and tennis tournaments. These events draw a multitude of visitors and each one brings it's own individual party atmosphere.

The majority of Gold Coast nightclubs and restaurants are located in the Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach and Main Beach areas. Broadbeach is the location of Conrad Jupiters Casino which offers traditional gaming activities with a lavish stage show production. The Gold Coast Convention Centre is also situated in central Broadbeach.

The influx of visitors to all these events and festivals are well catered for by the diverse range of Gold Coast holiday accommodation that stretches from Coolangatta to Runaway Bay. High rise, low rise, economy and 5 star luxury... it's all available.

Most of the Gold Coast nightclubs are situated in the heart of Surfers Paradise around the Cavill Mall and Orchid Ave area. Live bands play regular gigs at many of the bars and nightclubs and the thriving club scene has something for everyone, from piano bars and sports bars to music clubs blasting out the latest dance crazes.

For lovers of theatre and the arts, the Gold Coast Arts Centre has two cinemas, several restaurants and function rooms, a comedy clubhouse, arts theatre and two art galleries. It regularly features a variety of live theatre productions.

The peak holiday seasons, the schoolies week and the Indy Carnival all result in the clubs being packed with tourists. The remainder of the year the crowds are generally made up of partying locals. Leading DJs regularly play the clubs and the Gold Coast venues are always at the forefront of music trends.

The largest Services Club in Australia is Twin Towns Services Club located just across the border in New South Wales. It provides much of the entertainment for holiday makers staying at the southern end of the Gold Coast.

It is open 7 days from 9am till late and is spread across four sites. Gaming, restaurants, cinemas and floor shows are all under the one roof and club sets high standards in dining and entertainment.
