The majority of Gold Coast holiday accommodation is described as "fully self contained", which means that guests need only bring their clothing, foodstuffs and personal effects. Some provide connectivity in the guest apartment and others provide an internet kiosk facility. Servicing of apartments is usually done on a 7 or 10 day cycle with more frequent servicing usually available by arrangement with management for an extra cost. Where there is an extra person in the party, eg 5 persons in a 2 bedroom apartment or 7 persons in a 3 bedroom apartment, the bedding for the extra person is usually a single roll away bed. Unless stated otherwise at time of booking, an extra person charge is included to cover the costs of the bed and bed linen. Airport Transfers Guests requiring airport transfers from Coolangatta airport can either use a taxi cab, limousine or commercial shuttle service. Very few accommodation properties operate their own airport shuttle services. Always check with the accommodation provider at time of booking for their recommendations on the options available an likely costs. Visitors arriving into Brisbane can board the Airtrain service in front of the airport terminal and be on the Gold Coast 1hr 15 min later. Taxi cabs can take you to your accommodation from the Gold Coast stations. Tickets For Shows, Tours & Attractions The reception desk of your accommodation will almost certainly provide a booking service for the theme parks, cruises, entertainment and local attractions.
